For Sale is a super Rare, Dutch NL-Marines TRIALS PLCE-MOLLE Hybrid Bergen It is in excellent, near new condition, only used as a demonstration piece, I've been holding onto it and planning to use it as a camping rucksack for awhile but haven't got around to it (i currently own 6 other packs) I've been told by a Dutch Sargent major, these bergens were trialed by the dutch marines a couple of years ago, were not in general production. They made the short list but eventually the contract was awarded to a different design as these were to lightweight for prolonged military use. The camo is Tri-color desert (based on the American DCU pattern) The Bergen's design is based on a modernized version of the British PLCE Infantry Bergen, but the pack includes modern features found on camping rucksacks. The fabric seems thinner, the back is heavily padded, as is the lumber waist belt. Capacity is approximately L, Internal frame, the side pouches are detachable. one side pouch can be converted into a day sack via shoulder straps (supplied) Waist belt has MOLLE attachment points. Adjustable height setting and floating lid. BRITISH ARMY WEBBING BERGEN RUCKSACK MOLLE PLCE CAMOUFLAGE

Nice large genuine British Army NATO stock issue IRR PLCE MOLLE webbing infantry long back convoluted bergan back pack in dpm camouflage pattern. Authentic ex-Royal Marines issue load carrying army camo ruck sack, light and compact, but waterproof and durable. Think it's either 100l or 120l capacity, can't remember, with zips to attach 'rocket pack' side pouches. Lot's of zipped pouch carry pockets, securing straps and additional attachment points for camelback, pouches, etc. Strong cordura construction, padded shoulder straps and fixlock waistband. About a billion times better than civvy equivalents from Berghaus, Karrimor, etc. Great for army cadet, hunting, shooting, paintball, camping, hiking, fishing, carp angler, horse riding, bikes, motorbike, etc. In generally nice used condition but it has been there and done it with the RM commando so has the usual wear spots and fading, plus owner's name in pen (which I will black out before sale). Bought this new for my son from a Field and Trek store for him to use for army cadets. It cost me the best part of £50!! He has decided that cadets is not for him, and hence it has never been used and is brand new, exactly as I bought it with no damage. All the heat vanes in the base are intact, no marks to the interior, the carry cover is as new, the locking ring hasn't so much as a scratch on it. If you know Jetboil (and if you're reading this advert then I assume that you must do) then you will know that a cozy will cost you a tenner, a lid another tenner and a cup a minimum of £45. So you have a half-price bargain here! If you can find better cheaper elsewhere, then fair play to you (but I bet you can't!) Designed to be used with the british military PLCE system. they can be attached to the PLCE Bergen, All Arm Bergen, Radio Pack, Patrol Pack, PLCE Webbing or with the addition of a yoke convert into a day sack. Made of heavy duty nylon cordura, its designed to take on the most arduous of conditions, and help carry and distribute the individual soldiers fighting load with comfort. These pouches are made by webtex and have a hidden compartment and rear access, so could be used with small hydration bladders or for personal radios.
