The distortion channel even has a built in noise gate that can be turned on or off. D.I. has ground lift or phantom power capabilities. The battery cover is loose but taped down (I use a cable for power anyway) and has 3M dual lock on the back for attaching to your pedal board but can be removed easily if need be.
