These oak beams are hand crafted and made to order. I plane, sand and finally treat your Oak mantel with a beautiful danish oil for a natural and nourished finish. Oak has its own natural colours and tones that are enhanced by the clear Danish oil. Some are naturally light, others dark. I will hand pick your oak beam in accordance with your preference. Furthermore, the oak can be 'worked' which means it can be sanded with curved, carved edges for an authentic aged, rustic, country style. These Oak mantels are ideal as floating mantels or shelves.
