Mixing Desk Studiomaster Session Mix 16-2 Gold

Much loved 16 channel Studiomaster mixing desk for sale with beautiful British EQ and modular construction. This has been used to record several albums and gigged very occasionally too. It's a very solidly build and sweet sounding desk but I've finally had to accept that I'm never going to use it again and so I'm looking for someone who can give it a loving home. Condition is good with a full compliment of knobs and faders and all the LEDs etc work. It has 16 channels, all with mic and line inputs, inserts and direct outs, 4 aux sends, a great sounding 3 band EQ with sweepable mid. There's phantom power, XLR main outs with inserts and the usual returns and tape input in the Control section. It's a modular construction, meaning that each channel is on its own circuit board and all the XLR connectors are bolted in individually so in the unlikely event that one channel should fail, the rest of the mixer will continue to function perfectly. It has a home made flight case which is not going to win any beauty competitions, but has kept it safe and sound and you're welcome to take it (or not, as the case may be). There is some residue from stickers where channels have been labelled which I've not cleaned off, partly from a "where do you stop" point of view. It should clean off fairly easily and you may be someone who wants to take off all the knobs and faders and get it really looking pristine – or you may apply a fresh strip of masking tape, "old school" style. I've given this a goog test and all channels are working fine but you're welcome to come and give it a really thorough one over before buying to make sure you're completely happy with it. Read More

On offer here is a Studiomaster Vision 708 powered mixer. It's got eight input channels, two of which can take stereo sources. There is a separate monitor output and internal effects. (The built in amplifier can be used to drive speakers from the main mix or monitor send) Power output is about 300w into an 8ohm load, so ideal for most medium sized PA speakers like Electrovoice SX300 or Bose 802. Allen & Heath ZED-14 6-Input Mixing Console with USB Port Bought for £299 from Anderson’s Music, Guildford - Only actually used for a few studio sessions. PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple of issues. The stereo channel does not seem to be working for some reason. Also the phantom power button along with a couple of others seem to have sunk somehow. These are probably easy fixes. But even without, the mixer is still very usable as is. No idea how this happened as although we have owned it for about 14 months it has hardly been used really so very odd. Fully working Pro Tools compatible 24 channel Digital Mixing desk! This mixing console did come from a working studio. The avid Control 24 is a desk that has been designed specifically for use with Protools via an Ethernet interface. The desk is in very good condition. The bottom does have a slight dent and some paint scrapes. Something you'll honestly never see. I have noticed that, on rare occasions the last two displays sometimes flicker (as photographed). This hasn't affected my productivity at all. The desk has recently had a brand new PSU worth £600 installed. The PSU is no more than 6 months old. All 24 motorised faders work perfectly! Each fader is tracked by software. With points they are astoundingly accurate. Writing automation with these simply cannot be compared to using MIDI, they are fantastic. Has never effected the performance or reliability of this awesome desk. The effects unit is simple but amazing especially if you don't like messing around with too many complicated settings. One of the best features on the effects side is that you can turn the amount of reverb up in one simple action on a dedicated slider. Great if feedback starts to rare it's ugly head when things get loud. These are like rocking horse poo in the U.K as most people who have got them just don't get rid. I've got two so selling one.
