Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Reborn - Watt Amp Head

Amazing Amp! The sound is incredibly versatile from the crystal cleans and a really good crunch on channel 1 to the 2 distortion channels on 2 and 3 which each have 3 different sound options. In addition as this is the reborn edition you get a switch on each channel selecting 50 or 100 watts from the power section. The EQ is very powerful compared to my marshall or fender amps. Full working order and comes with Footswitch, cover, power lead and footswitch cable. I also have a flight case available for £50. I can send pictures of the case separately if anyone wants to see them. Best price I can find new online is £+ and this is in very good condition. Amp head nearly looks new to be honest! Just the odd tiny mark, shown in the photos. Footswitch has a small 'dent' on CH1 and a missing LED cover but it works fine. I have never felt the need to open up the footswitch, push out the dent and find a new LED cover, but it is easily done. Soft cases are perfect. Valves are approximately 6 months old, but only have a few hours of practise level play on them. Purchase of a new guitar forces sale to free up some cash, but I wouldn't mind keeping this! The valves are relatively new, fitted with 6L6s, although with these, as you will know, can also be fitted with EL34s, with the bias switch, a feature of the series 2. Selling my trusty Mesa Boogie Rectoverb Combo, This 50 watt 1 x 12 combo really does pack a huge punch. It's an oversized 1 x 12 design, so sounds more like a 2 x 12 with the low end response. I've always used Mesa Boogies due to their glassy crisp cleans and their renowned heavy Hi Gain sounds. When the gain in cranked, it just sounds huge. There's a few tonal options with both channels, so you can run the clean pushed for more gain and Ch.2 has the same 3 gain settings as the Road Kings/Dual Recs, from mid gain through to Modern Metal Hi Gain. The amp is in great condition, has been gigged but looked after and I bought the cover when I bought the amp, so that has a few marks on but the amp itself is in top condition. Superb Amp, one of the best of the now 6 boogies I have had, only selling as I was given an F30, I have compared them both and they both edge each other in certain ways and even now I am not sure if I have made the right decision, both are not to heavy but the F30 is a bit lighter and with my dodgy back it was what swung me, the Rocket is 45 watts as compared to the F30s 30 watts, the rocket is a direct decendent of the F30 so very similar, I can't express how important a good amp is for tone and pick attack etc, this has it all.comes with padded cover, poss swap PX.. Peavey Guitar Valve Tube Head Amplifier Custom Flight Case Amp Marshall Mesa Orange

Peavey Guitar Head This head is in fantastic working condition. The amp comes with a custom flight case by Castle Cases. If you remove the top of the flight case, the head can stay in the bottom of the flight case with all cables fitting in the back. Makes it super easy when gigging. Please see photos. I had the head modified (by a professional amp maker) to a removable IEC/Kettle Lead, as I found the built in kettle lead frustrating and it wouldn't fit in the flight case with the plug trailing out of the back. The reason it is at an angle is this is the only way this can be fitted safely. There is the usual small wear and tear to the tolex around the amp, nothing serious at all. Currently the amp has the standard grill mod, so you see the tube glowing from the front. I can revert is to original very easily before collection/delivery. I personally thought it looked cooler without. I have the piece of wood featuring the Peavey logo which will be supplied to you either way. There is a picture of this in the photos. The amp also comes with a red trimmed dust cover (see last photo)! Delivery & Collection I am based in East London and can deliver this amp to London/Essex/Kent/Surrey for petrol cost - however please message beforehand to arrange. The amp is also of course available for collection from East London (Hackney), West London (Kensington) or Croydon. I will not post this item, it's simply too big/heavy/heavy/fragile.
