Mesa Boogie - Rectoverb 50 Watt Single Rectifier Combo (1x12) + Cover/Footswitch
Selling my trusty Mesa Boogie Rectoverb Combo, This 50 watt 1 x 12 combo really does pack a huge punch. It's an oversized 1 x 12 design, so sounds more like a 2 x 12 with the low end response. I've always used Mesa Boogies due to their glassy crisp cleans and their renowned heavy Hi Gain sounds. When the gain in cranked, it just sounds huge. There's a few tonal options with both channels, so you can run the clean pushed for more gain and Ch.2 has the same 3 gain settings as the Road Kings/Dual Recs, from mid gain through to Modern Metal Hi Gain. The amp is in great condition, has been gigged but looked after and I bought the cover when I bought the amp, so that has a few marks on but the amp itself is in top condition. Comes with footswitch to switch between the 2 channels, solo boost on/off and an on/off for built in spring reverb. Official details from Mesa below with more info, any questions feel free to ask! Thanks! For those in the know, the 50 watt head has been an underground secret in the world of rock and roll for three decades. Offering a truly useable power band with a bright, fast top end, the vibe of these mid-power amps has always been brash and urgent, with a rebel disposition. To create the American version of this genre, we took all the essential circuitry and ingredients of our fabled Dual RectifierĀ® and simply stepped down the displacement to a single pair of power tubes. At MesaĀ®, we only know one way to do things: the traditional, hand-built, all-tube way. And with a bloodline like the Dual Rectifier, who would dare tarnish such an icon? Last of all us! Based on a diode-rectified, two-channel platform, weāve included all the highly-developed pre-amp voicings found aboard its big-powered relatives. Channel One sports two modes: the tight and spanking Clean āwhich can be dialed up to a classic vintage purr, and Pushed for a spicy, brown, mid-gain clip. Channel Two boasts the identical three modes offered by the Road Kingā¢ and the Dual/Triple RectifiersĀ®: Raw, Vintage and Modern high gain. These three voicings cover the spectrum in a stair-step format with Raw making the transition from furry-clean through a bluesy, roots clip. Then Vintage High-Gain takes over and continues up the gain scale into a liquid, violin voice that glows with amber warmth. And finally ā¦Modern. This blistering High Gain mode delivers pure Recto aggression, the heaviest sound ever, and featured on countless recordings and stages world-wide. Lately youāll notice hi-jacked versions of the RectifierĀ® name appearing on the panels of many imitators. Flattering, yes. But donāt let them fool you. It all started here. We know the years weāve dedicated to creating these sounds, using only the best components and real tube technology. There is simply no way that a sound this big ā with its juicy, addictive feel ā can be delivered from a string of Ones and Zeros in a silicon-based, two-dimensional world. Only the real thing can deliver the intensity of the RectoĀ® experience. So if you canāt swing a Dual or a Triple, take heart: The authority that is RectoĀ® tone is still within your reach.
