Mesa Lonestar Special 1x12

Absolute monster of an amp! I've owned this for about 4 years now and loved every minute of it. I'm only selling to fund getting the same amp again but in a 2x12 combo. It has been serviced and re-valved yearly with the most recent one done in march this year. There are a few small nicks in the tolex and the reverb tank could do with changing as it has a broken spring, still works but not to its full potential. Replacement tanks are around £30 online and just a case of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new. Hasn't bothered me as I use a reverb pedal. Comes with the dust cover and the pedal switcher. Would prefer collection as It'll be expensive to ship (it's heavy). I also feel most people would want to try a new amp out before buying! I've gigged it and it's been solid and never let me down. The reverb unit, however, doesn't work. I have not looked into it as I never use verb on amps, but I've heard it could be an easy fix. This stunning amp has so much going for it and provides a real high end level of performance with a cracking range of tones and and versatile features. Thirty Watts, bold and pure from all four power tubes punches through the mix and hangs with a band in mid-size venues. Fifteen watts cries the blues with sinful passion …coaxing expressive soul from an electron-soaked pair of EL-84’s. Both these circuits run Pure Class A in a Push-Pull configuration. But what really makes this Lone Star Special is its ability to switch down to five watts of single-ended power bliss (patent pending). In Push-Pull circuits, the second harmonic is canceled out when the two halves of the wave-form are re-combined in the output transformer. Unlike Push-Pull, Single-Ended circuits preserve this most musical of all harmonics. For sale a Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 1x12 3-channel all-valve combo in very good condition, superb clean sounds and everything from crunch to liquid sustain from the 2 overdrive channels. The power stage takes either EL34 or 6L6 valves (currently has EL34s fitted). All in good working order except the reverb which isn't, the amp might benefit from some new pre-amp valves but not vital. Please note the flight case in the pics isn't included. Mesa Boogie - Rectoverb 50 Watt Single Rectifier Combo (1x12) + Cover/Footswitch

Selling my trusty Mesa Boogie Rectoverb Combo, This 50 watt 1 x 12 combo really does pack a huge punch. It's an oversized 1 x 12 design, so sounds more like a 2 x 12 with the low end response. I've always used Mesa Boogies due to their glassy crisp cleans and their renowned heavy Hi Gain sounds. When the gain in cranked, it just sounds huge. There's a few tonal options with both channels, so you can run the clean pushed for more gain and Ch.2 has the same 3 gain settings as the Road Kings/Dual Recs, from mid gain through to Modern Metal Hi Gain.
