Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 Amplifier Head and Carry Case

This Mark V was bought in Los Angeles and is American. It includes a beautiful padded and waterproof slip cover (worth $150) Includes Mesa Boogie half slip cover, cable, footswitch & cable. You need to use a step down transformer (you can buy mine for £30 or buy your own) or you can fit in a European transformer with a amp tech into the Boogie. It's an excellent condition and hasnt been used much so the tubes are in fresh condition! I'm only selling because I dont use it much and am moving to Holland. Otherwise I would keep it. Peavey Guitar Valve Tube Head Amplifier Custom Flight Case Amp Marshall Mesa Orange

Peavey Guitar Head This head is in fantastic working condition. The amp comes with a custom flight case by Castle Cases. If you remove the top of the flight case, the head can stay in the bottom of the flight case with all cables fitting in the back. Makes it super easy when gigging. Please see photos. I had the head modified (by a professional amp maker) to a removable IEC/Kettle Lead, as I found the built in kettle lead frustrating and it wouldn't fit in the flight case with the plug trailing out of the back. The reason it is at an angle is this is the only way this can be fitted safely. There is the usual small wear and tear to the tolex around the amp, nothing serious at all. Currently the amp has the standard grill mod, so you see the tube glowing from the front. I can revert is to original very easily before collection/delivery. I personally thought it looked cooler without. I have the piece of wood featuring the Peavey logo which will be supplied to you either way. There is a picture of this in the photos. The amp also comes with a red trimmed dust cover (see last photo)! Delivery & Collection I am based in East London and can deliver this amp to London/Essex/Kent/Surrey for petrol cost - however please message beforehand to arrange. This is an extremely rare Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp with IIC++ Mod. Mesa don't do these mods anymore, and this is only one of THREE Studio Pre's with this mod in existence! Click on the 'video' tab below to hear audio samples Sent back to Mesa Boogie USA in June for full service (can provide documentation) Its no secret that the studio pre circuitry is the closest you can get to a real IIC+ without having to spend £+. Match this preamp + mod with a good power amp you have basically the same tone as a real IIC+ for a fraction of the price. Planning to upgrade to the 800+ version, as being a fretless player the individual gain controls for the mids would be a lovely thing to have. Handmade in California, the amp puts out 800 Watts @ 4/2 Ohms, or 400 Watts @ 8 Ohms. Tone shaping is handled by a 4 band EQ Section comprised of BASS, LOW MID, HIGH MID and TREBLE Controls. Here we have a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special, 1x12 inch speaker, 30 watt all tube amp. It can also be stepped down to lower wattages for smaller venues or home use. Absolutely brilliant amp. I've gigged it and it's been solid and never let me down. The reverb unit, however, doesn't work. I have not looked into it as I never use verb on amps, but I've heard it could be an easy fix. Those of you who know about Mesa Boogie amps will know, but to the uninitiated there is a a powerhum, all Mesas sound like this, it would be more suspicious if there was not, they also weigh a ton, there that is the easy bit out of the way to stop anyone coming along and wasting my time and their own:o) I have had this for three years, the person I bought it from had it regularly serviced, it sounds incredible and it is sold with much regret, but it is not practical for me, I can't find any other any other accolades for other than it is a proper Mesa when they cared about what they made. Here is my awesome Mesa D-180. This is a 150W all valve power house. Less than 50hours use since it had a strip down service and full revalve (Harma Cryo) by a local Mesa Tech. Everything is running great. Selling as no longer playing in a band and could do with with funds for my home recording set up.
