50w all valve vintage Marshall JMP combo from . They really don't make them like this anymore and the sound it produces is just amazing! Condition is fair as it looks like it has seen some action in its life time but it is still in pretty good condition for its age. Since I have had it I have replaced the carry handle, corner protectors and the plastic vent on the top as they were either broken or very tatty. As far as I'm aware the speakers aren't original to the amp but they are a matched pair and are older celestions that sound great. The writing on the control panel has faded slightly but you can still make out what they say. Never used since a service by Roland Lumby in Manchester. Early 70s Marshall 4x12 angled cab. In great condition some tears on rear tolex but front grill is in great condition. Has original recessed side handles & 3 original t greenback speakers which date to early , date codes would indicate original speakers. One speaker was blown and has been replaced with a ts from, I think but I can check that for sure. Otherwise internally the wiring etc is as it was when it left the factory. Marshall JMP 50 Plexi vintage valve amp head, dated by Marshall to or early RECENTLY SERVICED and in full working order. I have owned and used this amp for almost 40 years and I am selling reluctantly now only because I have retired from gigging. The amp has been regularly serviced during a long and active working life. It has therefore undergone some parts replacements, but it retains many original components. I’ve included photos showing the internal electrics and the exterior condition of the case. More pix can be emailed on request. Before offering the amp for sale I’ve had it fully serviced, tested and upgraded to meet modern electrical safety standards. The work was carried out by Chris Taylor at Vintage Amp Services and included a complete re-valve with new Tube Amp Doctor valves, new fuse holders, new safety-compliant standby and on/off switches and a modern I.E.C. mains socket fitted. The mains voltage is hardwired to 240V and the speaker impedance selector to 8ohms. This was for my convenience when the original movable selector inserts were lost. A current equivalent Marshall reissue X head would cost you around £ new. This amp is not a mass-produced reissue, it’s a piece of hand-wired rock ’n roll history from the ’s. Very little use at all but a beautiful head and cab plus very rare. Marshall JMP Lead & Bass 20 plus the original cab. The head was made on Halloween ! All in very good original condition, even comes with protective covers. The amp was serviced in April and has not been used since so in full working order and ready to go! I have taken lots of photos to try to show it in it's true condition. One thing that came up during the service is some scorching to part of the plastic wiring board (see photos). Marshall JMP-1 + footswitch in Broadstone

Great condition, having spend all its life in a rack in my home studio. Comes with the dedication 4-way footswitch and cable, in its original box. Original user manual included. I used this for creating authentic "stack" guitar sounds in my studio, but it can be used in a live rig, with a power-amp. I would prefer cash on collection, but I will post (fully insured) for an extra £15.

Fantastic sounding classic Marshall amp. Incredibly punchy and responsive to dynamics. Theses amps were favoured by AC/DC and have a classic vintage tone and plenty of power. Built in this is the reissue of the super lead. The amp has 2 channels which can be linked with a jumper cable between the front input sockets.
