All in very good original condition, even comes with protective covers. The amp was serviced in April and has not been used since so in full working order and ready to go! I have taken lots of photos to try to show it in it's true condition. One thing that came up during the service is some scorching to part of the plastic wiring board (see photos). Fantastic sounding classic Marshall amp. Incredibly punchy and responsive to dynamics. Theses amps were favoured by AC/DC and have a classic vintage tone and plenty of power. Built in this is the reissue of the super lead. The amp has 2 channels which can be linked with a jumper cable between the front input sockets. VINTAGE MARSHALL JMP 50 LEAD AMP HEAD – – HANDWIRED – MULLARD VALVES - COLLECTERS GRADE

Marshall JMP Stock code: Lead Serial number E Genuine Vintage Marshall Up for sale here is my Marshall JMP 50 watt lead head. This is in collectors /museum grade condition and is as close to mint as you will find a 44 year old amp. Everything works and it sounds and looks fantastic. The photos do the best job of showing this and as you can see the tolex covering, aluminium front and rear panels and case are unmarked, just as they left the factory. It has the original Drake transformers and a complete set of Mullard valves which I suspect are the originals. was the last year of the point to point handwired amps and this one still has the original bulgin socket on the back. I’ve owned this amp for 9 years, it’s had home use only but I’ve had it serviced several times during that time to keep it in top condition. It is in very original condition but the few components that have been replaced are in the last photo. When I bought it the standby toggle switch, which would have been the ‘black bat’ plastic type like the On/Off switch, had been replaced with a vintage re-issue metal toggle switch from Marshall. I had this replaced with a second hand original but if you look closely the lock washer is slightly different to the one on the On/Off switch. This is cosmetic and obviously doesn’t affect the operation of the amp but in the interests of being completely open and honest I’m pointing it out and if the buyer wants a matching lock washer for the On/Off switch I can get one. I’ve just had it checked over by my tech last week, to make sure it’s in top condition to sell, and he replaced one of the power valves with an identical used period Mullard EL34. I will supply the original with the sale. It runs quietly, just sounds the business and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face! It comes with its original Marshall slip cover and bulgin power lead which has been fitted with a modern sealed plug for safety. This is a real find for a serious collector or player, there can’t be many Marshalls from this era in this condition and they rarely come up for sale. I’m selling because I’m in the process of downsizing my collection of vintage amps and guitars as I retired last year and my wife and I are looking to move to a smaller house. This is a genuine and reluctant sale and I’m sure that whoever buys it will be delighted with it. Note: the 4x12 cab shown in some of the photos is not included but is for sale so please ask. Ampeg V4BH bass amp, 2x10 bass cab, 1x15 bass cab

The set up consists of an Ampeg V4BH all valve bass amp head, an Ampeg 2x10 Classic cab and an Ampeg 1x15 Classic cab. All of which were made in the USA before Ampeg shipped production to the Far East. The amp head has a full flight case and the cabs have Roqsolid covers. The stitching on the 2x10 is coming undone but it still protects the cab. Both cabs have Ernie Ball removable castors on them. One of the castors on the 2x10 is slightly loose. The sound of this rig is typical Ampeg - big, loud and warm. This has been my main bass rig for around 3 years, but following the use of a friend's Terror bass I have been drawn into the world of Orange bass amps and I think I'm there to stay now (for now!). MARSHALL A Lead 4X12 CAB VINTAGE 30 SPEAKERS Up for sale here is my Marshall A 4x12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. The cab dates from and I bought it in from the first owner who had only used it at home. I replaced the original Celestion G12T-75 speakers with Vintage 30’s when I first got it as I prefer these speakers for their stronger bass response from the heavier magnets. Marshall actually produce the A cab with Vintage 30’s from the factory called the AV for about £200 more than the standard cab, check out their website. I’ve really looked after this one, as you can see from the photos, and it’s in really good condition for a 14 year old cab. I gigged with a few times in the early days but since then it’s had home use only. Specs from Marshall for the AV Weight (Kg) 40.6 Dimensions in mm (WxHxD) 770x755x365 Inputs 2 Size 4x12 Speakers Celestion Vintage 30 Output per Speaker 70 Watts Total Output 280 Watts Impedance 16/4 Ohm Mono, 8 Ohm Stereo It’s pick up only I’m afraid due to the size and cost of shipping but I might be able to meet half way, depending on distance, so get in touch to see what we can sort out. The cheapest I could find a standard A cab new is £509 at GAK and the cheapest I could find a AV cab new is £694 at GAK. The best price I could find for new Vintage 30 speakers online is £89 each with a 40% discount so grab a bargain and get this cab for less than the cost of 4 new speakers. Marshall JMP 50 Plexi vintage valve amp head, dated by Marshall to or early RECENTLY SERVICED and in full working order. I have owned and used this amp for almost 40 years and I am selling reluctantly now only because I have retired from gigging. The amp has been regularly serviced during a long and active working life. It has therefore undergone some parts replacements, but it retains many original components. I’ve included photos showing the internal electrics and the exterior condition of the case. More pix can be emailed on request. Before offering the amp for sale I’ve had it fully serviced, tested and upgraded to meet modern electrical safety standards. The work was carried out by Chris Taylor at Vintage Amp Services and included a complete re-valve with new Tube Amp Doctor valves, new fuse holders, new safety-compliant standby and on/off switches and a modern I.E.C. mains socket fitted. The mains voltage is hardwired to 240V and the speaker impedance selector to 8ohms. This was for my convenience when the original movable selector inserts were lost. A current equivalent Marshall reissue X head would cost you around £ new. This amp is not a mass-produced reissue, it’s a piece of hand-wired rock ’n roll history from the ’s.
