Marshall JMP 50 Plexi vintage valve amp head, dated by Marshall to or early

Marshall JMP 50 Plexi vintage valve amp head, dated by Marshall to or early RECENTLY SERVICED and in full working order. I have owned and used this amp for almost 40 years and I am selling reluctantly now only because I have retired from gigging. The amp has been regularly serviced during a long and active working life. It has therefore undergone some parts replacements, but it retains many original components. I’ve included photos showing the internal electrics and the exterior condition of the case. More pix can be emailed on request. Before offering the amp for sale I’ve had it fully serviced, tested and upgraded to meet modern electrical safety standards. The work was carried out by Chris Taylor at Vintage Amp Services and included a complete re-valve with new Tube Amp Doctor valves, new fuse holders, new safety-compliant standby and on/off switches and a modern I.E.C. mains socket fitted. The mains voltage is hardwired to 240V and the speaker impedance selector to 8ohms. This was for my convenience when the original movable selector inserts were lost. A current equivalent Marshall reissue X head would cost you around £ new. This amp is not a mass-produced reissue, it’s a piece of hand-wired rock ’n roll history from the ’s. Letting this amp + cab go together cheap as I've spotted a good deal on a guitar I want and it doesn't get much love after purchasing a Victory amp. I used this amp lightly in a band I was in but never got the love it deserves, great 70s classic rock tones and sparkly cleans alongside stacks of distortion on the lead channel. Cab is a Marshall MX412A with Celestion speakers and is the matching unit to go with the head. Marshall BluesBreaker 2x12 all valve Combo

If you're looking, you probably know about these machines. If you don't, here goes......made famous by mr Clapton and others, a great 30w loud 2x12 valve combo with valve rectifier. Glass like cleans or drive it to get the Brit crunch. I used the blackstar valve HT pedal with a boost for solos. I've had it for about five years now and never any bother from it. Has a service badge from shop in Brighton, looks very neat inside. Never used the tremolo as I lost the foot switch somewhere along the line. Comes with chanel connection lead and Marshall cover.
