This all valve class A combo, amp, often referred to as a 5 watt plexi, is great for practice or live performance, and even though it's only 5 watts, it's loud enough for small to medium gigs. And if you want to practice at night or in a place where you can't make too much noise, there is a low power mode which cuts the power to 0.5 watts. Full working order and can be tested. Marshall Class 5 combo (rare red tolex)

This Marshall class 5 all valve 5 watt combo in an absolute belter! This particular amp was factory finished in red tolex as a special order. Has that great Marshall crunchy tone & has been fitted with a special valve to eliminate the rattle that these amps can suffer from. The output valve is a Russian Sovtec NOS EL84M. The M stands for military! As these valves were made in the early s as a high spec version of the EL84 for the Russian military. The valve has very robust internals and therefore does not rattle like standard EL84s do when the amp is turned up. Great little amp with amazing tone. Will be sad to see it go. If you're looking, you probably know about these machines. If you don't, here goes......made famous by mr Clapton and others, a great 30w loud 2x12 valve combo with valve rectifier. Glass like cleans or drive it to get the Brit crunch. I used the blackstar valve HT pedal with a boost for solos. I've had it for about five years now and never any bother from it. Has a service badge from shop in Brighton, looks very neat inside. Never used the tremolo as I lost the foot switch somewhere along the line. Comes with chanel connection lead and Marshall cover.
