Marshall T652 Reissue Alnico Speakers Celestion Made Blue Gold

Very rare reissue speakers made by Celestion for only a few hundred Marshall amps such as the 40th Anniversary Offset JTM45 and based on the very first Marshall Alnico speakers Clapton et al used (these are THE Bluesbreaker speakers). I've tested them and they are tremendous and unmistakably alnicos as opposed to the much more plentiful ceramic drivers. Built by Celestion to similar specs to the legendary Blue, Marshall maintains these are 25w and 16ohm speakers, though internet conjecture suggests sticking to the Blue's 15w. These are the speakers that Nels Cline raves about and would make an ideal for a Bluesbreaker or JTM45 (both of those amps are generally 30w and even the Blue is overspec'd - many makers such as Lazy J fit them in 20w amps!!). Would consider selling seperately as I quite fancy keeping one! Any viewings/trials welcome. Would MUCH prefer to avoid postage but I do have a suitable box. Any questions please just ask. Ad ID:
