Its short shaft and been used on speed boat. Impeler, gearbox oil and spark plugs changed in August last year. Selling as boat is sold already as no space where to keep it and this summer use kayaks instead so no outboard needed. Outboard engine 6hp four stroke mariner short shaft

Manufactured June and bought brand new. Only ever started once or twice a season to test as was an auxilary engine for larger boat I have sold. Starts and runs as new and in excellent condition. This motor is in exceptional condition. The motor has only been used a couple of times. The original owner bought it and was too old to use it so never got used. I'm the second owner and have only used it twice and thoroughly flushed it each time. It comes fully serviced and ready to use. No silly offers as it's a brilliant little motor. Mariner 15hp 2 Stroke Outboard Engine Standard (Short) Shaft

This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the last examples of the lightest 15hp outboard motor ever produced at just 35 kg which is considerably lighter than all modern 4 stroke equivalents. This weight saving makes a huge difference when man-handling the engine on and off small boats and also improves performance when under way. Condition of the engine is very good (see photos) with some paintwork chips commensurate with age. The motor starts and selects gears smoothly and has an excellent flow of cooling water.
