On the back is only a trace of the Papal wax seal. It's a “papal brief ", a less formal bull which came into use since the 15th century, authenticated with a wax seal and not a lead one.The text could cover any subject, in this case it is a matrimonial dispensation granted by the Pope to a pair consisting of blood relatives.
