A quality english leather GP saddle. The saddle is stamped champion faintly on the stirrup leather keepers. The saddle measures 17.5" to cantle, 7 inches between the D rings and 4.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are all in good order, the leather is soft and supple and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. There are signs of wear that you would expect with a used saddle but overall a very nice saddle in good condition. Read More

16" Narrow/Medium saddle. very good condition, barely used since I've had it, maybe 10 times in 8 months. Selling as my youngster has already grown out of it. Does have a small nick on the cantle however it it 1cm max and only cosmetic, as the saddle is around 10 years old this is to be expected. All girth straps are in fantastic condition and generally the saddle shows very little wear and tear. Bought for £260 in March and has been kept with a cover on for the whole duration of me having it so looking for around £230 plus postage however I am willing to take sensible offers as need gone. This auction is for a: Quality English Saddle made by Manor It is a 17.5" Medium Wide saddle used for my heavy weight cob so with fairly straight shoulders - more VSD than GP My cob is now 29 and happily retired and it is time to sell this lovely saddle It is used - light hacking over a 15 year period - but it has been very well looked after and is a beautifully soft and conditioned leather.  Hopefully the pictures show the condition and the one noticeable scratch too. Girth straps etc all in excellent used condition. For sale is a top quality saddle made by the manor company England. As you can see from pictures it's in extremely good condition and originally cost my mother £850 new. Made from quality brown leather it's 15.5 inches in size however for guidance I have added pictures with the tape measure next to critical parts of the saddle. Come with stirrups and girth etc. not had lots if use as my mother has now upgraded and had this in the stables in storage. Ideally collection from Macclesfield Cheshire however I will post. Details about   English Leather GP Saddle 17.5 M Black -

English leather saddle, measures 17.5" seat and stamped on bar as medium width fitting. Measures 9.5" d-d. This saddle is old very well used and only really suitable for breaking in. The seat has some flexion that is only due to age and old webbs, not broken but wouldn't advise to use for much more than breaking purposes. The saddle has some scuffs and cuts in the leather on the pommel, but all of this is not really an issue as cosmetic and doesn't affect it for use.
