He is an aviary bird and needs to go straight back into an aviary with a new hen bird as he isn't happy since losing his mate last year and as a result has plucked his feathers out. He is 4 years old and apparently proven to the last owner. He is wary of human attention so please respect this until he gets to know you. I took him on as I planned to pair him up with a new mate, but my situation has changed and I haven't been able to do this yet, hence sale. Hi there, I have for sale a gorgeous Ducorps Cockatoo named Jack! I bought him from a man who was keeping him in a budgie cage to free him of that situation, and now he's looking for a forever home where he can live out the rest of his years! He's not DNA tested (But we call him 'He'), and he is approximately 4 years old. He's a very friendly bird who loves having his head and neck petted, sitting on your shoulder, and dancing! He really is a joy. He's a funny, friendly and beautiful bird. As far as I am aware, he does not talk. I was told he knows a few words, but I'm yet to hear them. I don't doubt he will pick them up, though, he's very clever! I'm looking for an experienced and loving home for Jack, or somebody who's done a lot of research on bird care (Cockatoos, specifically) and won't be handing Jack on. Cockatoos get passed around more than any other bird due to their eccentric behavior and the amount of noise they make, but they are amazing birds who deserve better. Jack is £600 ONO. He will come with a few toys, but NO CAGE. I do want him to find a home as soon as possible, but I will only sell him into a safe, and caring environment where he will get as much love, attention and training as he deserves.
