Hi there, I have for sale a gorgeous Ducorps Cockatoo named Jack! I bought him from a man who was keeping him in a budgie cage to free him of that situation, and now he's looking for a forever home where he can live out the rest of his years! He's not DNA tested (But we call him 'He'), and he is approximately 4 years old. He's a very friendly bird who loves having his head and neck petted, sitting on your shoulder, and dancing! He really is a joy. He's a funny, friendly and beautiful bird. As far as I am aware, he does not talk. I was told he knows a few words, but I'm yet to hear them. I don't doubt he will pick them up, though, he's very clever! I'm looking for an experienced and loving home for Jack, or somebody who's done a lot of research on bird care (Cockatoos, specifically) and won't be handing Jack on. Cockatoos get passed around more than any other bird due to their eccentric behavior and the amount of noise they make, but they are amazing birds who deserve better. Jack is £600 ONO. Born in a litter of 4, on Saturday the 17th June, into a loving home comprising of two cats, a dog and 2.4 muggles, this kitten has been loved by all family members and it will be heart breaking to see him go. Named Bagheera Griffindor, after the black panther from jungle book, and the Hogwarts house he most fits. Bagheera looks completely black with long hair, though a faint tabby marking is visible depending on how the light hits his fur. Quite magical. Bagheera is a very gentile male kitten, that loves playing with siblings, fingers and shoe laces. He is very brave, always the first to investigate things and seldom scares, because of Bagheera's gentle nature my children have suggested a home with an elderly/stay at home person who can just cuddle up all day and gently play. Four Year Old Ragdoll Male who loves lots of attention. Very good natured, but also very shy of strangers - fine when he gets to know people though. Neutered. No Papers. No injections. Not been with other cats or outdoors. I've had him for four months, but I have to look for another home for him as we are moving down South and our new rental place doesn't allow pets.
