Hand-knotted Persian rug, Iran. cm, 20th century
The carpet changed its colour, the main red colour became light red. Other colours remained as they were black=black, grey=grey, beige=beige, etc. It remains a mystery why the colour red changed. There might not have been enough red wool to finish it all, maybe was the carpet knotted for personal usage or the craftsman was colour blind. Anyway, the carpet is unique. Please see the photos for your own impression.Measurements β cmWeight β 13 kgShipped by registered post. The carpet was imported in the EU before . Read more
