mid-century Vanson secretary desk/sideboard

This wonderful piece of furniture was bought by my late grandfather sometime in the last century - the Vanson nameplate on the back probably dates it to the s. I've never seen anything similar - but due to downsizing it is time for it to find a new home. It has two spacious drawers and a hinged leaf that locks, the key is provided and the lock works. The flap comes down to reveal a writing desk (or a laptop desk now) and interior compartments. Dimensions: overall height 105cm, width 76 cm, cabinet tapers from 40 cm deep at the bottom to 35cm deep at the top. Flap sits at 75 cm off the floor when open and legs are approx 35 cm tall. Four carpet protectors included - but nothing else, whatever you may see in the photo. I haven't got a weight but it is a two person lift. It is basically sound - the lock works, the drawers work, the leaf hinges work - but some restoration wouldn't hurt.The laminate front on the drawers is damaged, there is a drink ring mark on the top and the outer flap has circular marks from the key fob. Also other scratches to woodwork in various places. In short, it has been used. It has been in non-smoking and pet-free houses for decades, but when you open it there is still a faint smell of my grandfather's cigars.
