The previous owner had a major refit done and I have continued to upgrade the boat over the years. In the time that I have owned her, she has been very lightly used, some seasons hardly leaving the moorings. She has been lifted out every winter and the engine has been professionally maintained. She is a 24ft sloop powered by a SUZUKI 9hp 2 stroke outboard fed by an inboard fuel tank (an upgrade to a Yamaha 8hp 4 stroke is possible for an additional cost). GPS/depth/radio/cooker/heads. After a survey the standing rigging and cooker was replaced and electrics rewired. The Survey is available (all suggested tasks were carried out). All lines feed back to cockpit which has a centre main sheet. She comes with a Seago 230 tender (oars, pump, inflatable floor, hard seat & transom), lines, fenders, cockpit cushions, etc. Good sails. Lazy jacks and flat pack sail cover for easy sailing. Furled gib. A new water system was fitted in (electric pump). She is anti-fouled and on hard at Penryn ready for inspection. Foxcub 18 Mk1 for sale The boat is in very good condition and is available to view at Newtownards Sailing Club on land. It comes with a part galvanised trailer and an inflatable punt-boat is also available to buy separately if required. The boat comes with main sail, genoa and storm jib which are all in good condition. The boat also comes with a 4 year old Parsun 4 outboard. The outboard has had very little use and was serviced last August and been been stored in a garage with the engine turned over since the service. I have purchased a NASA Clipper in hull echo sounder and have prepared the boat for this – this is included with the boat. The boat has been anti-fouled and has original GRP coat paint. The boat was taken out of the water from Bangor Marina in October and has since been stored out of the water at Newtownards Sailing Club. Unfortunately I haven’t had the time to sail the boat over the last year. A new mooring was laid in Newtownards Sailing Club in June . She has a nice stable intermediate design: exiting but not too extreme. The PE3 hull construction is durable and needs zero maintenance other washing down after a sail. There are two useful screw-down dry hatches in which you can put your lunch, car keys etc ready for a break.
