Beautiful Slate & Marble Victorian mantle clock, circa .This Corinthian cased clock is very attractive, with easy to read undamaged white & gold dial, surrounded by five variegated marble inserts & gold etched scroll work. The crossed arrow engraved " Hac" American movement is pendulum driven, chiming the half hour & hour on a melodious sounding gong. Gent school wall clock circa in excellent condition and perfect working order

I have for sale a high quality old Gent wall clock which came from a school. It is 240v and keeps perfect time. The clock face and glass are unmarked but there is a very small dent in the top of the clock case which measures about 5mm across by 2mm deep (see close up photo) The clock measures 12.5 inches across. Late Victorian pendulum mantle clock with key. The case is made of slate with marble inlay and cast brass decorative finials & feet. The dial is also intricate & the clock reflects a lion theme with lions heads incorporated into the dial decoration & top decorative finial. The brass feet are lion claw feet. All original with quality french movement & bell strike on the half hour & hour. On the dial it says Placot Boulon below the number 12 & A. Cambrai above the number 6. Size W16 inches x H14 inches x D6 inches approx. More info. and pictures of movement can be supplied on request as it it heavy & needs to be lifted down for those to be taken. Excellent time keeper. VICTORIAN OAK CASED CHIMING MANTLE CLOCK

This is a Victorian wooden cased chimes mantel clock - i am not an expert but the wood appears to be oak, and it has a glass panelled door. It has large dimensions of 13" in height x 10.5" in width x 7" deep - it weighs approx 6.5kg unpacked. Unfortunately i have lost the key to this clock, but the last time it was in use it was in working order - however as i cannot guarantee that this is still the case, then it is being sold as spares or repairs. The wooden clock casing is generally in good order, with only minor wear and tear to the extremities (corners, edges, surfaces), but there is no damage to the wood. The glass door panel is also in undamaged condition. Read More
