I am selling my genuine LV Bedford. The Bedford is part of Louis Vuitton’s Papillon family of bag. Papillon means butterfly in French and describes the way the bag looks when the straps fall to each side; like a butterfly with its wings spread! Details: 6 x 6 x 12 inches approximately (height x depth x width) Hand or over-arm carry Discreetly embossed Monogram Vernis leather Leather lining Natural cowhide leather trim and straps Golden colour metallic pieces Internal D ring Exterior flat pocket Zip closure The colour of the Monogram Vernis is ‘Pomme d’Amour’ which is a gorgeous glossy red colour with a deep iridescence. (This is hard to describe and impossible to show in the photos; the colour is not ‘flat’ but has an iridescent quality. If you know other colours of Monogram Vernis, then the effect is like the Amarante colour or the Rouge Fauviste colour). I purchased this genuine item from the Louis Vuitton store in Selfridges, Oxford Street, London on 15 November . The original item code is M. The date stamp embossed into the leather lining is difficult to read because of its location inside the bag but I believe is says VI. The embossed label inside the bag confirms it was made in France. My Bedford is in immaculate, as-new condition; the cowhide leather has honeyed only very very slightly. The bag is completely mark free, internally and externally. I cannot stress enough the perfect condition of this bag, which unfortunately my photography skills can’t do justice.
