Alexis M1 active monitors (faulty)

These guys are in pretty good shape considering they are getting on a bit. One works perfectly. The other however periodically produces a high pitched screech/crackle. It's really hard to reproduce, sometimes it won't go away, other times I can't make it do it. If you know what you're doing you may be able to fix it, but I must stress you're buying something faulty, it's not two perfect speakers. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Selling Samson Rubicon R6a Studio Monitors, Few years old now, both speakers in OK condition. 1 Working fine but the other has had a fault for a couple of years, intermittently turns off and on. Not a power issue as the light stays on, the speaker just pops and goes silent for a few seconds then back on.
