Hello I have two daughters 10 and 7 that I would love to give the opportunity to learn about horses and show them how to ride. I myself had horses as a child and young adult and it was an amazing experience that I miss dearly. I realistically do not have the time and finances to take on a horse of my own full time although that is a dream I hope to fulfill in the future so for now I can dedicate at least two days per week. One week day after school and a Sunday to give love, cuddles, carrots and grooming to a sweet pony. I don't mind mucking out etc so if help is needed we would gladly get stuck in. I would like to teach them how to ride so will take them out on lead rein on occasion. I of course am happy to contribute to his/her bills at £10 per week and would appreciate the freedom to perhaps organise extra days to help if we can. Gentle giant looking for a family to love in Glasgow

16.2hh, 9yr old, bay, standardbred gelding. Tricky is an ex-trotter looking for a second chance. He is part way through his retraining. He lunges beautifully and will walk, trot and jump a small jump. He is getting to grips with canter but this areas requires some practise. He enjoys hacking out in the local park. He can be a little spooky because he is used to wearing blinkers for racing, but never dangerous. He is currently living out in a mixed field of mares and geldings. He is up to date with worming and vaccinations and has had his back done. He has a lovely temperament and is brilliant with children. He loves nothing more than coming to get groomed and cuddled. He is always looking to please and is a very rewarding horse to work with.

Looking for a pony to love!

My 13 year old daughter is looking for a pony from 13.2hh - 15 hh to love and ride. She will need somebody to show her the ropes initially, as she does not have much experience being solely responsible for a horse. She can walk, trot, canter and has just learned how to jump she has weekly lessons at Oaklands. She can also tack up, take tack off, put rugs on and off and muck out, although this has only been with another, more experienced person. She would be looking to do a Saturday or a Sunday, although this is negotiable. If this sounds at all like what you would be looking for, please let me know. Hello! I’m looking for a pony or two to give some love and attention! I’m an experienced rider, competed, attended pony club as a child, did mounted games, polo crosse, lots of show jumping, had my own horses for over ten years, but gave up a few years ago. I’m now looking to get back to horses, with my partner. I’m not looking to ride, but just to find a horse or pony once a week that could do with some attention- Maybe a field companion that could do with some fussing, or a pony that’s been in a field for a while!? I want to do this to get my horsey fix, to give some love, and for the opportunity for my partner to have some more time around horses, he's had experience but not a huge amount- so not looking for anything silly (but cheeky ponies aren’t a problem!) Happy to go and grab ponies out of fields and give them a groom etc, don’t mind mucking out the odd stable. I’ve had warmbloods to Shetlands, so really not fussed as long as there’s no nastiness or anything too bonkers. If riding IS an option It would be great, and I could contribute towards costs for this, but it is by no means essential. (I’m 5’3 weigh around 9.5 stone.) Can provide references from old instructors, horsey friends, and work place. I’m not phased by the cold winters, and could be flexible.
