Hi, hopefully someone can help me...my daughter is 12 and loves ponies and horses, we are looking for anyone who is short on time or just has a little family member that isn't used much anymore who would like some attention and some light hacking. We have previously loaned before and i have owed my own horse...so have plenty if experience. Unfortunately i don't have the time for a full time pony but can commit for twice a week. Looking for a pony to give love and cuddles and gentle hacki

Hello I have two daughters 10 and 7 that I would love to give the opportunity to learn about horses and show them how to ride. I myself had horses as a child and young adult and it was an amazing experience that I miss dearly. I realistically do not have the time and finances to take on a horse of my own full time although that is a dream I hope to fulfill in the future so for now I can dedicate at least two days per week. One week day after school and a Sunday to give love, cuddles, carrots and grooming to a sweet pony. I don't mind mucking out etc so if help is needed we would gladly get stuck in. I would like to teach them how to ride so will take them out on lead rein on occasion. I of course am happy to contribute to his/her bills at £10 per week and would appreciate the freedom to perhaps organise extra days to help if we can. Looking for a pony to love!

My 13 year old daughter is looking for a pony from 13.2hh - 15 hh to love and ride. She will need somebody to show her the ropes initially, as she does not have much experience being solely responsible for a horse. She can walk, trot, canter and has just learned how to jump she has weekly lessons at Oaklands. She can also tack up, take tack off, put rugs on and off and muck out, although this has only been with another, more experienced person. She would be looking to do a Saturday or a Sunday, although this is negotiable. If this sounds at all like what you would be looking for, please let me know. She is reliable and a quick learner and has the support of her parents in terms of getting to/from and accompanying her however unfortunately for her we are not riders. Read More
