Molly is our lovely cat who is 16 in August. She is very loving and loves lots of attention! Due to circumstances we can no longer keep her in our home and looking for somewhere for her to live out the rest of her senior years! Molly is very healthy and still full of life although loves to curl up and sleep on your lap for hours! Hello everyone, This is Emily... And Emily has a sad story to tell. I am a member of staff at a care home in stroud and a few months ago we started to see this little black beauty. She spent a lot of time in our large garden and never seemed to leave it's. She was a very scared little girl and would often hiss at us and run away it anyone got close to her. It became quite clear to us that she didn't have a home and we thought she may have been feral so good in our nature as carers are we all bought her some food and began to make her life a little more comfortable as she wouldn't come inside the house and was sleeping out in the cold. Over the last few months she has become very very friendly and has grown a bond and began to trust us. She would even come and sit on our laps for a cuddle outside! However we took the time to take her to the vets and it turned out that she was chipped.. The vets rang her owners and they said that they had a dog now and so didn't want her after all.. She had been missing for two years and her real name was Primrose! This made us all very sad and I decided to take her on as I just couldn't bare to see her go to a rescue centre with all the other long term rescued black cats. We have called her Emily and she has had a vet check and her first vaccination along with a flea and worm treatment and is currently living with me but away from my other pets. Unfortunately my situation has changed in the last few days so I will not be able to keep Emily as I wished to. Therefore we are now in search for Emily's forever home. She is a lovely little 5 year old beauty and will settle in very well. She may just need a little bit of love and affection to gain her trust and then she won't ever let you go... Looking for a Loving Hone for our Cat Fern

We adopted Fern about 4 years ago but sadly have to regime her due to two members of my family suffering an allergy to her. Fern has been a very lovely addition to the family. She sleeps all day and only really wakes up if she is hungry! She is very much a house cat and although given the option to go outside, she will usually chose to stay indoors. She does on occasion love to lay in the sun. She is completely deaf, although it took me a while to remember she couldn't hear me, her deadlfness causes no problems at all. She does molt when petted, and will leave hairs behind where she lays. Regular brushing helps. She tends to find a place she likes to lay and stays there, meaning her hairs don't spread too much. She would suit a calm house hold, where she is able to just sleep and do as she pleases. I don't wish her to be rehomed with young children or anyone with other pets for this reason. (I do have two dogs, and she does find them a nuisance) Ideally I would like Fern to go to someone who is looking for some extra company. She will be very happy if you allow her to sleep at the bottom of your bed, and also loves to sleep on your lap. She eats soft food and has recently been wormed and given flee treatment. I can give you her cat litter box, her dish and I also have a basic material cat carrier you can take with you. I'll decide next week on who is like to rehome her with, so please in the mean time feel free to contact me with a bit about you and why you think your home would be ideal for her.
