Hello everyone, This is Emily... And Emily has a sad story to tell. I am a member of staff at a care home in stroud and a few months ago we started to see this little black beauty. She spent a lot of time in our large garden and never seemed to leave it's. She was a very scared little girl and would often hiss at us and run away it anyone got close to her. It became quite clear to us that she didn't have a home and we thought she may have been feral so good in our nature as carers are we all bought her some food and began to make her life a little more comfortable as she wouldn't come inside the house and was sleeping out in the cold. Over the last few months she has become very very friendly and has grown a bond and began to trust us. She would even come and sit on our laps for a cuddle outside! However we took the time to take her to the vets and it turned out that she was chipped.. The vets rang her owners and they said that they had a dog now and so didn't want her after all.. She had been missing for two years and her real name was Primrose! This made us all very sad and I decided to take her on as I just couldn't bare to see her go to a rescue centre with all the other long term rescued black cats. We have called her Emily and she has had a vet check and her first vaccination along with a flea and worm treatment and is currently living with me but away from my other pets. Unfortunately my situation has changed in the last few days so I will not be able to keep Emily as I wished to. Therefore we are now in search for Emily's forever home. She is a lovely little 5 year old beauty and will settle in very well. She may just need a little bit of love and affection to gain her trust and then she won't ever let you go... A home is needed for beautiful black short haired female cat, who is 2 in March. I have given her a temporary home as her owner suffered a stroke and she didn't have anyone to look after her. My Grandparents are absolutely gutted, however they're having to rehome their lovely boy Marley due to their landlord kicking up a fuss because he sometimes messes in their garden and sits on his car! He's been with my grandparents for about 18 months now, however he's around 3. He was a stray cat and despite lots of effort they couldn't find his owner. So took him in. All was fine at first and their landlord didn't mind however recently he hasn't been very good about it. My grandparents are pushing 60 so really aren't wanting to move. However once he gets to know you, he will be ever so loving. Simple life, fed, watered, cuddled and brushed. Outside for the toilet then inside for some warmth.
