firstly she is 18 years old but it was taking too long to flick through the dates! She is a lovely girl, gets a tiny bit worried about being without other horses but as long as you are kind with her she will do whatever you want. I ride her out alone often with no problems. you can get a really good bond with this mare, she is very loving. not mareish at all, never aggressive...just around her seasons might be annoyed with other horses but never people. she has a beautiful calm canter...never ever takes off with you. never bucks or rears (unless you use a stick on her...so sticks are banned). she will go in the school if you wanted a lesson or to try some jumps...just cant do tight circles due to an old injury. welcome to use the school nearby though. lives out so no chores as such, just rugging/hay/feed and waters. £80 per month for as many days as you want (max 1 weekend day). there are people to ride out with if you wanted. nice hacking in the area and you can ride in our fields if you want. school nearby (under 5 mins hack) for £5 per hour. let me know if you want to come meet her:) Read More

This is my 6 year old new forest 14.2 gelding I got thunder to hack and he's a 100% he loves nothing more than to be out hacking,we go In to the woods every outher day he will safely & happily go over styles to get in and have a canter up the track he has very good brakes and stops when u tell him, we go to beach in summer he's the same there, nothing bothers him while we're out the odd time if he is unsure of some thing he will just stop to see what it is like all horses,every morning we hack past a site we're they are building houses so there are digger trucks loud machinery ect and he doesn't bother he really is a great hacker!!!!I do take him in the sand schoool when I can't get out hacking but he finds it boring and his mind drifts he might try stoping at gate or in the corners he is defiantly not a school master if that is what u are looking for,not that I'm ruling it out as when u teach him some thing he picks it up easy but I didn't want him for that,he's a great jumper and also enjoys that,in the stable he's good when you tack him up I tie him with I do with any horse/pony as he'd prob walk of!!!!! He goes from and to the field perfect no pushing or pulling and will wait for you to take of his head collar my 10 year old boy will take him out no problem, he will put his head in to head collar when you go to his stable he's a softie, He is bare foot he doesn't need shoes he has good solid feet, he only has 2 nets a day and one scoop of feed fresh water and his rug on (which I would give u) and he's happy as Larry x Read More

Jonty can mainly be used as a happy hacker due to previous lameness issues; has had the all clear from the vets and can have vets name and number on request. He is by no means a novice/ first pony, he would suit a confident light teenager/ second pony as he can be quick and sharp. 16.2 perfect happy hacker for LWVTB

As I've found a new love of schooling I have decided very sadly to sell my big mare. She's a 16.2 stocky strong mare. Hacks alone and in company. 100% in any traffic, even on tight lanes. She may spook at a pile of bin bags or a new road sign tho lol. She has been previously vetted and had a locking stifle which has never effected her and only noticed once with the farrier. She's only had 1 injury where the vets believed she was kicked in the neck in the field (over 2 years ago) and she was walking sideways. She had box rest for 3 months (full x rays which were all clear) they believed it was a trapped nerve. She's been a happy hacker with me as she's a standardbred and so isn't great at corners in the school. I've changed her to bitless and she's fantastic to ride! She will hack in open spaces calmly and pick up a gear if you want to have a good gallop. I'm not looking for her to go to a home where she will be schooled NO more than occasionally. Or any implements such as draw reins used! She's been trained to hold her head high to race and this is how she's comfy. She is a fantastic hacker and could do an endurance type thing too subject to building up her fitness:-) She's full of muscle and in great condition at the moment and will make someone a life long friend. Eric is a stunning boy with a loving nature. Good to hack alone or in company, not fazed by traffic at all. Easy to do; shoe, catch, load etc. Has had laminitis with me but very easy to control once I was aware and is still turned out regularly and overnight in summer. Hasn't been in work much over the last 2 months due to family commitments and we thought Eric had a knee injury but it is perfectly fine.
