Hello, I recently rescued a lone male degu from appalling living conditions. He's around 3 years old and is a champagne colour. He's a lovely guy, does not bite or nibble at all and im now looking for the perfect home for him. The ideal home will have degus looking to expand their colony, or as a companion for another lone male. He is a dominant goo so will need a submissive buddy, and need owners who have experience in introducing degus as it can be a lengthy process. He has a thickets cage but is let out each day all day. I would like him to go to a home which allows lots of free range time as he has a lot of energy! The thickets cage is only temporary too so I'd like him to eventually be in a much larger cage with other degus. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Read More

Lone male degu with cage and accessories

4 year old pale/grey degu looking for a responsible experienced home. He is a very dominant degu so will be best suited with a submissive male or neutered and paired with a female. Lovely boy who doesn't mind being handled, and has never bitten anyone. He comes back into his cage when you shake his oats jar during free time. He is used to being out of his cage everyday for a few hours so would like a home that can continue to offer this as he has lots of energy and loves to explore. If this isn't viable, a larger enclosure would be great as this thickets cage was connected to a much larger cage so he will be losing a lot of space once it's disconnected. Lone Male Rat

New home needed for my 1 year old rat, Riff Raff. His brother has recently died so he needs to go to a home with other rats for company. Here we have Jack, a single male degu, he enjoys the company of other degu's although he cannot live with other degu's (we haven't tried babies). When Jack first came to us as a rescue he was very nervous and scared, it has taken a lot of time and perseverance to get him to hand feed and trust us. Ideally the person taking him on will have other degu's caged nearby so he still has company and would be willing to keep working with building his confidence.
