Boris was picked up as a stray and is estimated to be between 18months and 2 years old. He is a friendly dog with bags of character. He has enjoyed going out for walks and has accompanied other dogs without any problems. He loves to play and has lots of energy. Boris loves playing fetch and is very good at bringing the toy back to be thrown again. Admittedly Boris is not the most handsome dog! - but we think he perhaps resembles a character from a Star-Wars film! Boris main passion in life is metal food bowls. He loves to carry them around and play with them! Although Boris is good with other dogs out on walks it is thought that he needs to be in a home without other pets - where he can get all the attention to himself. Pippa is a gentle girl who was found on the side of the road a few years ago in bad condition. She was nursed back to health and has since been a much loved pet. Her owner was devastated to part with her but had no choice due to housing problems. Pippa is used to living with other dogs and having cats around. She is not so good with small furries. She loves children.She is used to living inside and is fully housetrained. A few months ago, Pippa was hit by a car whilst walking along the road with her owner. Her left front leg was broken amongst other injuries. Vets operated immediately and plated her leg. She has a few scars to show for it but is otherwise fully healed and has no problems now. Young male Chinchillah needs a new home! with cage!

This is 'Fat mouse' he's approximately 7 months old. He's a rescue male chinchillah that has been in my care for the last month. when he first came to me his furr was all matted and falling out, partially because he's young he's having his first furr shed and also through stress and lack of sand baths his coat was in a bad condition. He's been having a sand bath twice a day and a quick brush with a baby brush and he's much better. He's put on weight and perked up, he has a few small holes in his ears and had such terrible sore feet which have now healed (see pic) I've had a blanket on the bottom of his cage to protect his feet and help they heal. He's a lovely little guy he was really shy at first but now makes a purring noise when he's stroked, he likes being brushed and loves dandelions and raisins. With the right person he will be an amazing companion, he's got a real personality and likes being tickled under his cheeks. I go back to work in two weeks and I work away a lot for months at a time, i also do a lot of animal charity and rehoming work so I need the room for emergency rescues as the weather is getting colder. He could really do with another male chinchillah friend to keep him company! I'll be sad to see him go but he really deserves a great family life. Experience is a MUST and i would much prefer to rehome him knowing he's going to have a friend. he'll come with a carry bag, hay, food, treat, toys and he has a wheel he doesn't really use yet.
