Vintage fishing basket/creel for sale in beautiful patinated condition

Here's a very very nice vintage wicker fishing basket for sale. It's in superb solid condition, beautifully patinated with a little dust. It's complete and intact with a little rust to the buckle but it still fastens. The original strap has been replaced with a canvas item which is possibly more practical but doesn't look quite as good as leather. A piece of suitably aged leather would sort this out if you wished. As you can see it's all wicker woven around a bamboo frame with no plywood or wooden bottom, it's a very nice piece indeed which could be used for vintage fishing, display purposes or repurposed maybe as a log basket for the fireside or a storage basket though it would be a shame to lose the natural ageing. £45 ono collection from Atherton or can deliver locally Ad ID: Delivery Services Consumer Credit
