Large Industrial Vintage Shipping Crate/Trunk in Reading

A solid wood shipping trunk. It was made during mid century Britain and used for storage and safe transportation of goods. It is of a sturdy construction and secured with iron clamps and hinges. The wood has not been sanded or refurbished and has therefore kept it's industrial feel and look. A family address is still on the back of the trunk from a trip to Italy. It is in remarkably good condition, with the paper lining also intact. This trunk is larger than usual and made from very thick planks. Would make an excellent industrial furniture project; coffee table, toy storage, end of bed storage and more.
