Large hand made vintage industrial desk

I had this large desk hand made by a nearby metal works company, this is a very sturdy and heavy desk with a vintage industrial style look. Made of steel and 4x4 wooden posts to give a very thick work area. Does have some ink doodles on it, but can be easily sanded down again. Vintage Industrial Retro Metal desk table with 3 drawers bespoke custom made

A Gorgeous bespoke piece of furniture based on a s Teachers Desk, This is a one off design as all our pieces are slightly different in their design and build. We have fabricated a new top section from Galvanised steel (not cheap composite substitute) in two jointed sections in order to emulate the construction style of a vintage aircraft. The construction is to a professional standard, the metalwork is precision engineered using a plasma cutter, not a jigsaw to ensure clean and perfect jointing, the corners have been seam welded and all the edges finished so there are no sharp corners or rough edges. We have then added heavy industrial riveting along the seam edges. The drawer fronts have also been treated in the same manner with jointed panels to reflect the style throughout. The original s handles have been retained in order to preserve the character of this wonderful piece. The original timberwork has not ben over restored, just cleaned and waxed to retain a wonderful and original patina. We feel the contrast between wood and metal gives a fantastic overall effect making this a real statement piece, sure to enhance any home or Office. An iconic piece of industrial furniture from the french postal system Postal sorting desk with pigeon holes. We salvaged this piece from a closing post office in rural France. We had 5 of these all salvaged from one post office and all lovingly restored by us. This is the last piece so don't miss out! They don't come up for sale often. It was produced in the mid 60s from steel. We have completely cleaned the piece and treated it with a mat graphite paste. It retains much of its beautiful original patina with the wear and tear expected on a piece of hardworking industrial furniture. Hand made large chesterfield style scroll arm vintage style country house sofa,, This is a very well made hand built solid wood framed sofa, fully sprung support to the base and back, sound and sturdy, we love it but sadly it really is far too large for our small sitting room so very reluctantly it is being offered for sale.It is upholstered in a divine ethnic style fabric depicting elephants, flowers and trees in an elegant colourway of antique gold, taupe, old ochre and dusky terracotta. so very earthy colours.(I am not sure if it is velvet or chenille) it is a hardwearing fabric, lovely and soft to the skin and very comfortable to lounge out on.It has four bulbous turned wooded feet which do unscrew to enable it to go through smaller doorways.There are no holes or stains but please do remember that this is a used sofa so therefore not pristine brand new. we have no children/cats in our home and we are a smoke free home.We do have a small dog but she is forbidden (bless her) to lounge on the sofa, she has her own chair.The length of the sofa is approx. 230cm the depth from back to front is approx. 106cm the height including the legs is approx. 78cm (the legs stand approx. 12cm tall) and as I said do unscrew.The height to the seat is approx. 40cmThe back scatter cushion fillers are feather, the seat cushion fillers are not feather for a firmer seat. they are not foam but some other material.This sofa is heavy and will need strong people to move, we are able to assist at this end.
