Antique dressing table Edwardian

This dressing table is a lovely solid piece. I bought it with the intention of doing a chalk paint and wax finish, which would be perfect for the shape and the ornate handles. However, having ignored it for over a year, I am admitting defeat and selling it on, with the tin of chalk paint too if you'd like it! Please note that I have altered the piece by cutting off 2 strips that joined the legs on each side. I have a photographed this. They were rather chunky ugly strips and not needed, and without them it looks much better I think! Read more
