Arthur W.  Coaten, Famous Horses of The British Turf, 10 volumes Published by  Welbecson Press Limited & Eveleigh Nash & Grayson & The British Bloodstock Agency, London.   Collection of 10 volumes for sale together in one lot. All numbered and limited to apart from volume which is limited to 600. All volumes in the original matching brown cloth with cream cloth spines, top edge gilt, gilt titled to spines and front boards, contents complete with illustrations. The volumes are .   Because of the weight, the auction is for the UK only and postage is £7.00. Condition:  A few tidy books, but probably best seen as a collection of plates.  The boards are all very worn with damp staining and looks like a mouse has been chewing it. Most have fraying to the spine ends. Some of the pages have been affected by the damp staining and the appendix for has been quite badly affected. has 4 pages that are loose and the front free end paper is missing. Some of the tissue guards are creased or frayed. Most of them have a name and date () to the front free end paper.
