Large Carved Wooden Asian Figurine - 50cm tall

This figurine was bought in the 80s from a collector who liked to travel and seek out interesting items. It was the only one in the showroom. It is quite heavy - 8kg - but the type of wood used is unknown. It stands at 50cm high. The carving is quite rustic on the body and limbs, with a beautiful, detailed face. It is in perfect condition.
