For playing guitar through this it will only work by means of volume knob on the guitar, or if for audio output from computer / decks there are connections on the back. None of the knobs on the amp work anymore but it still outputs sound and is really loud. This amp was used for gigs years ago and the speaker easily drowns out a drum kit, the dimensions are: 49cm (19 Inches) HIGH AND 57CM (23 Inches) WIDE This would really suit a DJ / someone into audio and could use this for parts as the speaker is great quality and the unit could be used as output from decks or a computer, would suit amplification for large venues due to its size / power. Hi I'm selling my guitar amp as I hardly use it now and it's taking up space. Also I'm saving up for nappies and baby food (for our new baby). It's a Laney TF400 with 3 channels from clean to distorted. It has headphone output at the back. The bloke on the youtube clip is not me by the way. It’s an all valve, twin channel amp with high and low inputs, with lots of headroom (4 x ECC83 Preamp valves and 2 x 6V6 Power valves). It has push/pull EQ knobs (red knobs) for more tonal options, from bright cleans to full blown distortion, and has a Fane 12 inch speaker, which is considered rare in its own right. Fairly rare Laney, only made for a short period between Klipps and the Pro tube, both fairly legendary. This deserves the status because its a great amp with a much less copied from Marshall circuit. Suspect its a lot more copied from Burman, it sounds loads like by Burman Pro Series gain channel, has the cascaded gain controls and active mid that make them stand out. It got a real tasty high gain and reverb) Of course you would be most welcome to try it out for yourself (at a reasonable volume level...I like my neighbours!! hehehe) Plenty of power with this 100 watt set up enough for any aspiring rock star or someone who does not like their neighbours!;-) Its got a few little scuffs to the exterior as you'd expect for a big heavy chunk of gear. But considering its age I'd say its in pretty great condition. (probably down to the fact its not been used in so long) Its £225 for the head and cab.
