18 watt hand wired 'Lead & Bass' valve combo, based on the early Marshall Lead and Bass combos. The amp has 2 x 12AX7 pre amp valves & 2 x EL84 power amp valves and has separate volume/tone controls for both lead and bass channels. The channels can be combined using a patch lead between inputs for greater tonal variety. The amp was hand built by Chris Uff (English Valve Amps) using quality parts and features an original Rola Celestion G12M Greenback speaker (see photos). Luthier-Built '69 Tele Thinline Replica

For sale is a mint-condition luthier-assembled guitar based on a Fender '69 Thinline Telecaster. I bought this off a young budding luthier in Cornwall and have kept it in perfect nick. No gigs, no transporting, no smoking. The body is chambered ash finished in a two-tone sunburst, and the neck is solid maple with a light satin finish. The frets are medium to medium-jumbo and I've set the bridge to suit my chunky strings () and heavy fingers. Easily sorted otherwise. I've only used this for recording, and hate to see it go but bills demand otherwise. It plays like a dream. If you're interested in having a look, I live near Crystal Palace Park. These are manufactured as near to Fender’s specifications as possible and are compatible with original Fender parts. Northwest Guitars also spend a lot of time on their colours; especially the early 50's ones like this one in Fiesta Red to ensure aesthetic authenticity. The neck is in beautiful birds eye maple as was Hank’s original guitar, and was crafted by WD Music who are licensed by Fender. (It does have a Fender decal on the headstock but it is NOT A FENDER). The white scratch plate and electrics including Sky pickups are manufactured by Dongho Electronics of Korea who also make Kent Armstrong pickups. (Distributed by WD Music). The guitar has been crafted with gold coloured hardware to emulate the complete Hank Marvin look. The tuners are Gotoh and the strings are Fender nickel-plated steel 9'S (250L Light). Two channel valve amp, with reverb. Includes the extra reverb and channel switching pedal. Original instruction booklet included. Never been gigged and used for home practice and driven to a practice studio. Still works perfectly. Knobs a little crackly only when turning, but a little spray will sort them out. You may want to change valves if you want a brighter cleaner sound, or leave as they are for that traditional 'burnt in' sound.
