Kribensis (breeding pair) tropical fish

For sale my breeding pair of Kribensis. They had two batches of offsprings within three months. Suitable for community fish tank setups. Peaceful with other fish and bigger shrimp, such as ghost shrimp and Amano. Can be territorial during breeding season, thus not advisable to keep more than one pair in a small-size tank. Water temperature 26 degree C. Collection only. Buyer must have fully cycled fish tank before adding the fish in. Read More

Pair of Kribs, have bred successfully a couple of times and raised fry themselves. We've had them just under a year and they were not fully grown when we got them. They would prefer a new home with some sort of cave in it. Looking for £5 for the pair, will not sell separately

PAIR OF YOUNG ADULT KRIBENSIS - TROPICAL FISH

PAIR OF YOUNG ADULT KRIBENSIS - TROPICAL FISH

Kribensis Cichlid (Krib) is considered a great beginner cichlid and is one of the most popular of the dwarf cichlids. Recommended for the general community tank, but do note that the fish become very territorial when breeding. Given a clay pot or Coco nut shell, they become Quite fascinating to watch the female and male Sheppard the fry around tank like a pair of sheep dogs. I need to move from tank as another pair of Kribensis purchased at the same time have Coloured up and started to breed and are very defensive of their nest site. (see female RED BELLY & eggs can be seen in pic 2) NOTE the Male & Female for sale is the fish hiding under filter in Pic 2 Pic 1 shows Female. I'm asking for £8 for the pair (about half price of the fish in shops) Read More

Breeding pair of Ocellated Kribensis

Breeding pair of Ocellated Kribensis

Hi, I'm having a change around with my aquarium and have several species of fish for sale to good home/s. My breeding pair of Ocellated Kribensis have had 3 lots of fry within the past six months. The fry unfortunately get eaten by my other fish but the Kribs are fantastic parents, both the female and male (I've added a photo of them with one lot of their fry). These are beautiful fish and have to stay together. They are tropical fish and although originate from Africa they need a PH no more than 7.5 and a hardness of up to 20°H. The tank must be at least 70 litres because Kribs can become aggressive when breeding. I've never had any fish injuries, they just tend to chase off the fish that go anywhere near the eggs/fry. Other than these requirements they are very easy fish to keep. Thanks for taking a look, Lou. ##The price is for the pair## Read More
