Eko `Rio Grande 12` ~ Vintage Acoustic 12 String Guitar

A rare, mid 's Eko 12 string guitar. Great sounding, all original with an adjustable bridge, open style tuners and a low action for a 12 string. I believe it has a spruce top and mahogany sides and back. Made in Italy, this is a weighty, full size dreadnought guitar with a big voice to match. New strings just fitted. There are several dings here and there, mainly to the dark resin binding around the body edge. Also at the top, rear corner of the headstock. None of these are that obvious and do not affect the sound or playability. Otherwise it's in great condition for it's age - no cracks to the body wood, the neck is straight, adjustable and frets are like new. Nut width is 46mm so it suits bigger hands! I rarely play it anymore and it should get some use. It's never been gigged and comes from a pet and smoke free home. A used 12-string acoustic guitar, plays nicely, big sound. A few small dings on the front surface but nothing structural or affecting the playing or sound. The worst one is photographed. The age is a guess, but i think no older than the 's, it could be early s - I bought it from a friend a few years ago. I'm not playing it enough and need the space. For sale is my 12-String Semi-acoustic Takamine Guitar. I've rarely used this guitar since I bought it which is why I'm selling it because I just don't use it anymore as I've drifted away from 12-string guitar playing. Superb example of this excellent quality 12 string instrument. Handmade in Quebec Canada. Fitted with an acoustic pickup and strap button jack socket. Super sound either acoustic or amplified. I bought this used last year from Promenade Music in Morecambe. The guitar is fantastic. However I prefer my 6 string. This is the only reason for selling, I may end up regretting it.
