Following a study of Politics, he became head of the press department of the Berlin school of politics. He had already had a career as a journalist and an insurance broker. During the invasion of Poland in , Von Monts became head of the Press Department in the German Army in the rank of Gunner. After his wife passed away, he was discharged from active service. However, he remained involved in, among others, the General Government of Krakow as a spokesperson for the German troops. The Nazi leadership considered him to be indispensable in the propaganda war and he was entitled to wear the SS uniform in the rank of first lieutenant. From through , he was granted a job in the Ministry of Propaganda.He used his acquired position for his own enrichment, he took possession of rare goods (including record-players and spirits), which were intended for the troops. This lucrative trade allowed him to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle with expensive limousines and prostitutes. Bevor sie die Sieben verlässt warnt sie ihre Kinder davor Fremde einzulassen. Kurze Zeit später klopft der böse Wolf an der Tür und bittet um Einlass. Die Geißlein lassen sich allerdings nicht von seiner Verkleidung täuschen und verwehren ihm den Eintritt. Da frisst der Wolf Kreide um die Stimme der Mutter nachahmen zu können. Als er abermals am Haus anklopft, fallen die Kinder auf den Trick herein und öffnen die Tür. Sechs Kinder frisst der Wolf, das siebte aber versteckt sich in der Standuhr. Als die Mutter heimkommt findet sie nur das kleinste Geißlein vor, welches ihr von dem Unglück berichtet. Es gelingt der Mutter dem schlafenden Wolf den Bauch aufzuschneiden und ihre Kinder zu befreien. Den Bauch des bösen Wolfes stopften sie mit Steinen. Als dieser erwacht und etwas am Brunnen trinken will fällt er hinein und ertrinkt.< br /> < br /> Der gelernte Jäger< br /> Ein junger Schlosser auf Wanderschaft lässt sich zum Jäger ausbilden und bekommt von seinem Meister eine Büchse, die immer trifft. In einem großen Wald findet er nachts drei Riesen, die einen Ochsen am Feuer braten. Er schießt einem dreimal den Bissen vor dem Mund weg, worauf sie ihm anbieten, mit ihnen zu gehen und für sie die Königstochter aus dem Turm hinter dem See zu rauben. < br /> < br /> Der Räuberbräutigam< br /> Ein Müller verspricht seine Tochter einem reichen Mann. Er ist ihr aber nicht geheuer. Er besteht darauf, dass sie ihn in seinem Haus im Wald besucht. Auf ihre Ausreden erwidert er, er habe die Gäste schon eingeladen, und er werde ihr Asche auf den Weg streuen, damit sie ihn finde.
