Bible - Torah Tze'nah u-Re'nah -Lwow - - Genesis-Numbers 261 leaves + Deuteronomy, Haftoras for Holidays, Targum Sheni for Esther, Meggilot, Temple Destruction, Hanuka Miracle, 6 + 28 pages (messed up pagination but full texts), + 12 unpaginated pages of Book Of Esther with hebrew and yiddish text (thats the only book with the hebrew version too - Binding bad condition - not soft not hard cover - middle. - 23 x 15 x 4 cm - Pages mostly fair, stains, few binding cutting of headings.The Tseno Ureno (Tze'nah u-Re'nah), also spelt Tsene-rene, sometimes called the Women's Bible, was a Yiddish-language prose work of c.s whose structure parallels the weekly Torah portions of the Pentateuch and Haftorahs used in Jewish worship services. The book was written by Rabbi Jacob ben Isaac Ashkenazi () of Janów (near Lublin, Poland), and mixes Biblical passages with teachings from Judaism's Oral Law such as the Talmud's Aggada and Midrash, which are sometimes called "parables, allegories, short stories, anecdotes, legends, and admonitions" by secular writers. Older examples with different numbers of lines exist in several museums.Size: 16 leaves of parchments, ca. 28 x 53 cm each; Total size: 28 cm x ca. 8.50 m.Age: Difficult to estimate; I guess 16th - 18 century; Definitely pre ;Clear signs of age: Some letters rewritten by an old hand, as the ink had peeled off due to long years of use.
