I am selling this Yacht as it belonged to my brother who sadly passed away earlier this year. I have no knowledge of this kind of boat and will have limited knowledge. I am unable to give much of a detailed description as I know nothing about the boat, however I suspect that any serious buyer would like to view the boat and this can be arranged as it is at present in dry dock on the isle of Rothsay in a boat yard. This will need some TLC and is dry docked for several months paid in advance therefore the opportunity to restore is available. I believe this boat has crossed the Atlantic on more than six occasions my brother indeed sailed it from USA to UK. This is a unique boat and can be again with the right TLC I have not seen sails up so don't know what they are like however it has sailed Atlantic as I said. The hull and deck are in their original gel coat with a anti fowled bottom. They have never been painted. A few marks and minor repairs over the years but nothing major and nothing to prevent the boat being put on the water tomorrow. The boat comes with a complete set of seats in good condition. Floorboards are present and useable but would benefit from a coat of paint or replacing Spars. Mast and boom are aluminium and free from bends and major damage Sails. A main sail and jib are included with the boat. These are in good order and ideal for club racing or cruising. They are not blown out and still hold their shape Extras. Closely Picarooner sailing dayboat. 16ft classic sail boat with cabin and trailer

Sula II is a Clovelly Picarooner which was built with a cabin, and believed to be the only one of its kind. She is a lovely boat to sail. These pictures were taken in and I have not sailed her since. She is looking tired and needs a good clean and varnish. I launched her once this year and the 4hp outboard engine was fine, but the trailer brake had stuck and need attention. She is a gaff rig with tan main sail and cream jib on roller furl. Copper coat antifoul and easy to tow. She is sea worthy and dry and I had a cockpit tent made up so one can sleep in the cabin and also in the cockpit. Currently in Bucklers Hard dinghy park on an Indespension trailer, please feel free to look around her whenever you like.
