Jacko. 14.3. Gelding. Ride and drive. 18yrs
Jacko yrs old but thinks his still 10. Gelding Here we have for sale Jacko he is a ride and drive Heavy weight cob gelding. 14.3 and 18 years old although he doesn't act it! £ or £ with tack. He is super easy to care for, a very good doer lives of thin air. Bare foot. Happy in or out, alone or In company. A very happy easy horse. Currently living out with company. Good as gold for everything- loading trailer or lorry, to bath (he loves a bath), to be clipped, being groomed, farrier the lot. Worming, teeth and feet are all up to date. His the type of horse that can be left in a field untouched for 10 months, dragged in tacked up and ridden and he'll behave no differently to how he does when in hard daily work. Easy to tack up, stands still for mounting from floor or a box. Does exactly as his asked no more, no less. He isn't a school master but he tries his hardest. Walks and trots, sometimes runs into canter due to being driven however once you've pulled him back once and asked again correctly he pops straight into it. Can sometimes throw a little flick with his back legs but it's not enough to unseat you. Point him at a jump and he'll try his best to get you over it, his never refused or ducked out. He does feel strong in his head but his not ever going any where. I think this is from being driven. Never reared or bolted. Good to hack alone or in company in front or behind. Very confident while out. Great in open spaces. Comes back from a gallop on the end of the buckle. Never silly or spooky. Can sometimes be abit strong but again his not going anywhere with it, he'll only be strong in a forward walk- will NEVER go up a gait unless asked! Has never bolted. His fine with motorway bridges, open spaces, all traffic, all other animals. Driving his as good as gold, goes for miles. Has been on leysdown drive being driven from one pub to the next by a 13year old boy, being tied up outside for a good 45mins at each stop and didn't put a foot wrong. Good as gold to put harness and cart on. Good and patient with all traffic. Has been driven through west malling high street at rush hour and wasn't fassed at all. Can be strong when leading and tried to take you back to his paddock If he knows he can get away with it but since being led in a dually his been fine and not tried it. Not suitable to a novice only because he can be strong however his never silly or dangerous! Would ideally like him to go to a hacking home as this is when his happiest however a schooling or driven home would be fine. 10* home only! Homes will be vetted. Heartbreaking sale due to not having the time he deserves. £ or £ with tack. Read More
