I have been thinking about offering to hatch eggs for other people, I just love doing it and also the end result. It is quite a complicated process and success depends on the quality of the eggs involved. I have successfully hatched over the years dozens of chickens for myself. I have raised some truly stunning birds, some rare breed. Also Pekin bantams are one of my favourites. £ includes incubation of your eggs and a weeks care after hatch. I will candle the eggs at 4 or 5 days to ascertain fertility, and will then tell you. A fertile egg is not a guarantee of a chick after 21 days incubation, but hopefully my Brinsea and I can provide some very good results! The resulting chicks must be picked up a week after hatching. Then the business of raising begins. Please remember if the hatch is large, you may have as many cockerels as hens, and as your babies they will go to you. You may ring me at any time. Bring your fertile eggs to me for incubation and I will hatch them. I will let you know after candling at 1 week in the incubation, how many are viable. A live chick from a viable egg cannot be guaranteed, many die in shell on the way to life, but hopefully with strong healthy eggs, the success rate will be high. I hatch all my own chickens simply to keep a closed flock and the health aspect of this seems to work. I hatch from bantams to huge Croad Langshans.
