Early 70's handbuilt British made guitar amp with original Celestion Rola speaker and old stock Mullard valves. As used by Jimmy Page and Pink Floyd (Google watkinsguitars for pics) Beautiful sustaining shimmering clean sounds and easy to overdrive. Top boost switch on channel one gives a beautiful sustained vintage Fenderish sound. Channel two is a cross between Fender and Marshall. Speaker is Celestion Rola 20watt 12 Ohms Valves are all 60's Mullard except one pre amp valve which is an old Russian Electro Harmonix. The amp has been sitting in the cupboard for at least a year. Here is a lovely vintage and rare WEM Dominator 25w valve bass amplifier which turns on but makes a loud buzzing/humming noise, I'm pretty sure it is a loose connection to the speaker or possibly a valve that's gone as that's the only sound I can get out of it at the moment. I'm selling it as seen as it'll need a service before use but once Working, these fetch around £300. As far as I can tell everything's original and hasn't been changed unlike some vintage amplifiers nowadays. I don't have the time to fix myself otherwise I would. Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Guitar Amp

For sale is my great little Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Amp - and 2 watt mod. I used this for a little while with a 1x12 cab trying to keep my volume down whilst still playing a great vintage tube amp sound. I also have the valve and adaptor that take it up to 2 watts - still not that loud but an even cleaner sound. New it would be around £420 plus shipping and import duty AND it would come as a kit - you would have to build it. I barely use it now as I moved to an even smaller amp. For more information search for Gilmore Jr. 1/2 Watt Tube Amp. The kit is made in America by a company called Guytronix. Also - I am sure there are plenty of people discussing its great “articulation at lower volume” and other things that make this such a unique little amp. I might consider trade for a guitar cab. Welcome to my ad for a WEM Westminster Valve amplifier. This is in full working order but does have a couple of cosmetic issues. Unfortunately as seen in one of the images there is damage to the rear panel but it has been repaired from the back and also a slight nick in the tolex which can also be seen in the images. It is in original condition and i believe i am the second owner of it from new. It would benefit from a service as it still contains the original Mullard valves but is fully functional as is. VINTAGE WEM 50 Watt Amp Head

WEM Monitor Reverb Amplifier. This is a working 50 watt unit and is fitted with a pair of desirable MULLARD EL34 output valves. This unit sounds really sweet and has a couple of interesting features. Channel 1 has a 3 band EQ. Each band working from max right down to zero rather than the more conventional plus / minus. This means that if you turn all three bands to zero there is no output from that channel. It provides a fantastic range of tone and I believe that is what the term "Mixing Amplifier" refers to on the front panel. Channel 2 has a standard 2 band EQ just like the famous Dominator series. There is a standby switch which in reality is a signal mute rather than the more conventional HT switch as found on Marshalls etc. Volume and tone pots all work without crackles. Some points to note: • The old Bulgin mains socket has been replaced with a modern IEC mains socket. • There is a MIC level output for DI on the back panel. This was originally a jack socket but was replaced with an XLR at some point in the past. • The reverb spring unit is missing, but the send and return phono leads are still in place, so a replacement could be fitted easily if required. • The cosmetics show its age but it is still fairly presentable.
