This saddle was only used very lightly as it was our best saddle (you can see by the pictures). The leather still has its firmness, not soft and over used. This is a really comfortable saddle, it has a square cantle which gives a flatter seat than some other GP saddles, it also has good knee rolls to keep you secure. Good condition just the normal signs of wear from stirrup leathers and girth straps and a little scuff on top of cantle which is hardly noticeable. 17.5" brown, ideal grandee saddle. GP/jump style, great little saddle that is ideal for general use, hunting, jumping etc. wide fit (91/2" between the d rings) suits slightly flatter backed types (it's the same tree style as the ideal Jessica dressage) This saddle has been used but is still in very useable condition, the leather is nice and supple and the girth straps are sound. There is some superficial scratches to the front of the saddle (see photos) due to my horse pushing his way out of the stable!! Also a scuff to the cantle. But none of these affect its use.

 General Purpose English leather saddle by Ideal. 17.5" from cantle to stud. Medium/narrow. D - D (top ones) is approx 8.5" Brown with paler seat and knee rolls. Extremely comfortable saddle. One of those that seems to fit several horses on our yard, just frustratingly not mine! This belonged to my old girl who was pts earlier this year. It's a lovely saddle and a hard sale, but needs must. She was a 16hh fairly solid Polish Warmblood, initially always a medium but changed shape slightly with age and I changed to this one. The saddle itself has been checked over by a saddler who's given it the ok. Although in good condition, you can see from the top it has noticeable water marks. I bought it second hand like this and nearly always used a seat saver. Good solid saddle by a reputable maker. Please can winning bidder pay within 48 of auction ending. Gullet is 3.5 inches internally, it's 8 inches D to D. It was also sold as an event saddle but my legs were a bit long for the rolls so didn't suit me.
