Fabric is not stained.The only downside is rip in fabric at the back of the headrest (as was rubbing against the wall - please see picture). And crack in the base of the chair (see pic), also missing a bolt in one of the armrests. These issues do NOT affect functionality of the chair, and the chair can be used as is.
