This is an excellent ergonomic office chair, marketed as an alternative to the iconic Herman Miller Aeron chair. Designed to complement any space and integrate effortlessly into the modern office, the Freedom task chair offers comfort, style and complete ease of use. Created by Niels Diffrient and winner of more than 10 design awards, the Freedom task chair uses the laws of physics and the sitter’s body weight to provide instant, custom support for every sitter. This perfect balance allows the user to effortlessly move, but be fully supported in each position. As a result, users change postures often, which leads to a more healthy and comfortable sitting experience. The chair has a gas lift, adjustable arms and a unique design that allows the chair to move with the operator, ensuring full comfort and support with every movement. The seat is 530mm W x 460mm D, the back height from the seat is 540mm and the chair is upholstered in black leather. The chair is used and in good working order. There are a couple of small scuffs on the leather but these could be repaired or lessened. These chairs are around £500 new so this is a great opportunity to have a high end chair for a great price! Humanscale Freedom chair with headrest in blue fabric. Amazing for sitting long hours. Very comfortable. All fully functional. Fabric is not stained.The only downside is rip in fabric at the back of the headrest (as was rubbing against the wall - please see picture). And crack in the base of the chair (see pic), also missing a bolt in one of the armrests. These issues do NOT affect functionality of the chair, and the chair can be used as is. This was one of the best ones that I found, but I have learned that I need a mesh chair rather than a padded one and Humanscale do not do mesh chairs with headrests.
